What to Do If You Don’t Get Your Preferred Subject

Even when you are on the merit list, you might not get your preferred subject, which can be very disappointing!! But don’t worry! There’s no need to feel disheartened. If you don’t get your desired subject within the subject change list from 2 to 9, you can still have a chance to get into your preferred subject through migration.

Rules for Migration

In Degree Admission When filling out the final admission form online, you will see a question that reads, “Do you want to change your assignment subject based on your preference list?” This means that if you want to migrate, you can now do so. You should click “Yes” if you want to migrate.

Afterward, provide your present and permanent address on the left and right sides, respectively. Once everything is correct, click “Save Information.” Then, when the page appears “Download” click on the “Download” option to download the final admission form and print it. It will contain one copy for the college and another for the student.

What to Do If You Want to Change Colleges

Suppose you have passed the 1st merit list for degree admission at the National University but realize that the college you have been allocated to is different from your preference, and you want to change colleges. In that case, you should wait for the release slip instead of filling out the final admission form. This means you won’t complete the admission process.

However, there are both advantages and disadvantages to this approach.

The advantage is that you can apply to any of the five colleges in a different way. The disadvantage is that seats in good colleges may not be available, which means you might not get admission into a good college.

In my personal opinion, if you want to get admitted to a government college and are considering changing colleges, it’s better to wait for the release slip.

How to Apply for Degree Admission Release Slip

Students who have yet to be selected in the first and second merit lists can apply for a release slip for degree admission. However, many students might need to learn how to apply for a degree admission release slip. To apply for a degree admission release slip, follow the instructions below:
