National University Masters Private Course Admission Application Eligibility
- Students with a minimum of 45% marks in the traditional method or a minimum CGPA of 2.25 in grading and credit method can apply for the four-year graduation (honors) examination under National University from 2016 onwards. However, any student who has obtained a passing degree in the four-year graduation (honor’s) examination will not be able to apply for the Master’s (Private) program in the academic year 2021.
- 1st Phase Masters (Regular/Private)/Preliminary to Masters (Regular/Private) examination under National University from 2016 onwards with minimum 45% marks in traditional method or minimum CGPA of 2.25 in grading and credit method and relevant three years graduation ( Pass) students who have passed regular/private examination can apply.
- Members of Bangladesh Defense Forces can apply with the permission of appropriate authorities subject to having the necessary qualifications.
- Prison inmates can also apply subject to obtaining permission from the relevant department of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and submitting a certificate of good conduct subject to the eligibility of the application.
- Candidates who have passed Master’s Regular/Private) examination from a National University or currently studying/registered in said program cannot apply for a Master’s (Private) Program in 2021. The National University authorities reserve the right to cancel the registration of any candidate who violates the said conditions.
- If a candidate is admitted to a Master’s (Private) program in 2021 while studying in a Master’s (Regular/Private) or Master’s Professional course in the same or two different academic years, both his admissions will be deemed canceled.
- If any information/picture of the applicant in the initial application form is found to be false, incorrect, or incomplete, his registration will be considered canceled.

Online Application Procedure
- Candidates by visiting the Master’s Tab of the National University website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) between 07/05/2024 4 PM to 20/05/2024 12 PM. Fill out the application form from the Apply Now (Masters Private) option.
- A maximum of 1000 (one thousand) candidates can apply for the Master’s (Private) program in 2021 in all subjects affiliated with the Master’s (regular) program in the concerned college. National University Masters Private Course Admission 2024.
- At the time of filling out the application form, the candidate should scan and upload a recently taken colored photograph in the form of a passport. Image size should be 120 * 150 pixels, Image Type: jpg, and maximum file size: 50Kb. The National University reserves the right to cancel any candidate who uploads any other application form.
- The applicant selects the department and district according to his choice and selects the name of the college to see the eligible subject of the candidate in the respective college.
- Fill the table with the correct information and picture and click on the Submit Application option. At this stage, the roll number and pin code of the applicant will be displayed and the applicant should download the form [A4 (4.s”x11) offset white paper] and take a print.
- The applicant should sign the printed application form in the prescribed space. Along with this application form, the candidate must submit the attested mark sheet of the Graduation (Honor’s)/1st Phase Masters (regular and private) examination, an attested copy of the registration curve, initial application fee of Tk. The second part of the application form shall be returned to the candidate with the signature and seal of the concerned College Principal/Teacher-in-Charge.
- Correction of completed application form: Before submitting the application form to the concerned college, the candidate will verify his application form, if there is any informational discrepancy or incorrect picture in the application form, it should be corrected. To correct the application form, the candidate has to go to the Masters Private Applicants Login option and enter the roll number and PIN entry of the application form. At this stage, if the applicant goes to the Form Cancel/Photo change option and clicks on the option to generate the security key, the candidate will receive a One Time Password (CTP) through SMS on the personal mobile number mentioned in the application form. With this OTP entry candidate can fill out a new application form and upload a photo before canceling his application form. For this purpose, the applicant should add his correct mobile number carefully in the application form. However, once the application form is verified by the college, it cannot be canceled. Candidates will get the opportunity to change pictures only once.
National University Masters Private Admission Application Conditions
- After selecting a subject/college while applying for registration in a Master’s (Private) program, no subsequent change of subject/college will be allowed.
- The applying candidate shall abide by the decision given by the Academic Council and Syndicate in all matters relating to registration and examination.
- If a candidate studies in more than one course or in more than one university/institute at the same time, the registration of that student will be considered canceled due to dual admission.
- For the Master’s (Private) program the subject-wise syllabus of the current academic year of the Master’s regular) the program will be applicable.
- The duration of registration in the Masters (Private) program will be 3 academic years continuously.
Admission Application Schedule:
National University Honors Professional Course Admission 2nd Stage
- Online Application Date: 07th May to 20th May 2024.
- Date of submission of application form, application fee, and application documents to the prescribed college: 15th December to 29th December 2024.
- Date of online verification of application form by the college: 15th December to 1st January 2024.
The following documents should be attached along with the printed copy of the filled application form:
- Attested photocopy of SSC/equivalent, HSC/equivalent examination pass original certificate and mark sheet.
- Attested photocopy of original/provisional certificate and mark sheet of Graduation (Honor’s)/1st Phase Masters Regular & Private) Examination.
- Character Certificate by the concerned College Principal 1st Class Gazetted Officer.
- Attested photocopy of Registration Curve of Graduation (Honor’s)/1st Phase Masters Regular & Private) Examination;
- Certificate from the Head of the Department to the effect that the candidates serving in the Defense Forces will be granted study leave.

No application for late registration or special permission will be entertained after the mentioned period for the smooth completion of the Master’s Private registration process.

National University Masters Private Course Admission Subject Selection:
- Approved Subjects: Bengali, English, History, Islamic History and Culture, Philosophy, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Sanskrit, Pali, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Accountancy, Management, Marketing and Finance & Banking. Private registration can be done only in the subjects mentioned in the Master’s regular program in the concerned college.
- The subjects selected must be subjects studied at the Bachelor (Honor’s)/Masters 1st Phase Regular and Private) level.
