Eligibility requirement for the post of Commissioned Officer in the Navy:
Engineering and Electrical Branches:
To be eligible, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university. They should have obtained a minimum GPA of 4.50 in both their secondary school certificate (SSC) and higher secondary school certificate (HSC) examinations, as well as a CGPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4) in their B.Sc. Engineering degree.
Candidates must be single and below 28 years of age as of January 1, 2024.
Faculty of Education (Engineering):
B.Sc. Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering from a public or engineering university is required for application in the Education stream (Engineering).
Candidates should have GPA-4.50 (on a scale of 5.00) in both SSC and HSC examinations, and B.Sc. Engineering should have a CGPA-3.00 (on a scale of 4.00).
Marital status can be either married or unmarried.
Age should be below 30 years as of January 1, 2024.
Physical fitness requirements:
Applicants need to have a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university. They should have achieved a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.50 in both their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. Additionally, they should have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 out of 4.00 in their B.Sc. Engineering degree.
Candidates who are overweight according to the prescribed standards for armed forces based on height and age will be disqualified.

At the final stage of the application, an application fee of Tk 700 has to be paid through online banking or mobile banking.
Interviews will be conducted immediately after the application process is completed.
System for nomination:
Preliminary health and preliminary interviews will held from July 15 to July 20, 2023, at BN College Dhaka Mirpur-14.
Candidates who successfully pass the preliminary health and preliminary interview will undergo Intelligence, English, General Knowledge, and Written Tests on the subjects studied on July 21, 2023 (subject to change) at BN College Dhaka, Mirpur-14.
Candidates who pass the written test will be examined and interviewed by the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) at the Inter-Army Selection Board located in Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka. Candidates will also be required to go through additional assessments.
