The principals/officers in charge of all the concerned centers are informed that the preliminary to masters examination of 2021 under National University will start from 09th October 2014. This exam will be conducted through Examination Management System (EMS) Software.
In the EMS system, the candidate’s part (E-Type) of the OMR form is scanned from the examination center through the EMS app and the attendance data is sent directly to the server of the Information Technology (ICT) department.
Urgent Notice Regarding Preliminary to Masters Examination
For that reason, the candidate’s OMR (E-Type) of the respective examination must be kept in a sealed condition for up to 06 (six) months after the publication of the examination result in the concerned examination center. There is no need to send to National University, Gazipur Campus or Regional Center as earlier.
If the university authority deems it necessary, OMR part (E-Type) of the candidate should be sent subject to demand. In such a case, after the examination, all the OMR candidates of the center (E-Type) should pack the subjects and course uniforms as before and prepare the statement according to the date and seal the statement in a sack or cloth packet and take measures to preserve it in the center.
It should be noted that if there is any problem in sending the OMR part of the answer sheet (E-Type) form and data of the candidate, the problem should be solved by contacting the university. Even if it is not possible to send the data, the OMR of that day should be sent by post to Mr. Md. Haroon Or Rashid, Deputy Controller of Examinations, Preliminary to Masters Branch, National University, Gazipur-1704.
The Center shall ensure the preservation of OMR records with due confidentiality. The OMR Janram shall not be sold or destroyed in any way without the direction of the University before the prescribed period mentioned above.
This rule will also be applicable to the examinations in which Examination Management System (EMS) Software will be used in the future.
