Requirements for admission to Class XI (2023-24)
Now let’s know what qualifications a student must have to get admission to class XI, HSC 2023-24.
All those students who have passed the SSC and equivalent examinations of 2021, 2022, and 2023 under any education board or Bangladesh Open University will get the opportunity to get admission in class 11 in 2023.
Students coming from abroad will also get the opportunity to get admission to class 11 in Bangladesh.
According to the new rules for admission to Class XI, the above arrangements are also in place for them.

For students who have passed the equivalent examination from any board or similar institution outside the country, the standard of certificate issued by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka will be applicable.
HSC Admission Guidelines For You
Now let’s see how you will select the group for admission.
- If you have passed from the science department then you can apply for all three departments of science, humanities, and business studies.
- If you pass from Business Studies department you can apply for Business Studies and Humanities Department.
- If you have passed from humanities then you cannot apply for any other category except humanities.
- Passed students from any department can choose any one from Home Economics and Music group
- Students who have passed the science section of Madrasa Education Board can choose anyone from science, business studies, and humanities and general category students can select anyone from humanities and business studies group.
However, the eligibility for admission to class XI depends on the college. Let’s talk in detail about, GPA depends on admission to various colleges.
For example, most reputed colleges offer admission to students with a GPA of 5.00 to 4.50 in Science, 4.00 to 3.50 in Business Studies, and 3.00 to 2.50 in Humanities.

Class XI Admission System- Class 11 Admission
The application for admission to class XI of the academic year 2023-2024 will start from 10th August 2023 and this process will continue till 20th August 2023.
As always, the application process will be conducted in three stages.
However, this time there is no opportunity to apply for admission to class XI through SMS.
Only you can apply online. Applications will be taken from students in 3 steps.
After completing the online application, the result will be published on the website of each education board after a specified time.
Along with this, an SMS will be sent to the mobile number given by the selected applicant.
1st phase online application will be accepted from 10th August 2023 to 20th August 2023.
1st stage application result will be released on 5th September.
2nd phase application will be accepted from 12th September to 14th September 2023.
The results of this phase will be declared on 16th September.
During this time the result of 1st phase migration will also be published.
The 3rd stage i.e. the last stage of application will be accepted on 20th and 21st September.
3rd stage result and 2nd stage migration result will be released on 23rd September.

First one has to pay a certain application fee (discussed in detail below) through Bkash or SureCash and then apply for admission to Class XI by visiting the website below.

First of all, open the Bkash app. Then go to the pay bill option and go to the XI class admission option.
Click on proceed to pay now, a page will appear with student information. If someone has made a mistake.
You can fix it at this stage. In the next step, if you send money with the PIN, you will receive a return SMS for payment.
Then go to the below website and click on Apply Button and complete the admission application according to the given steps.

Class XI Admission System Online
SSC or equivalent roll number, registration number, passing year, and board should be provided in the given information.
If the information is correct it will show the result obtained by the student i.e. GPA.
Then the mobile number of the student or the parent should be given. If there is a quota, the information should be given.
In the next step, you have to select the preferred college, group, shift, and version.
You can choose a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 5 colleges.
If you want, you can choose your college preference and apply for multiple shifts in the same college.
Applicants can check their preferences by clicking on the Preview Button.
If the selection is correct, click the Submit button. Once submitted, the application confirmation SMS and security code will be sent to the mobile number provided by the student.
The code must be stored confidentially, it may be required later in application correction and admission.

HSC Application fee and Admission fee
The class XI admission application fee in 2023 is 150 taka.
Class XI admission process for academic year 2023-24 will start from September 26 and class XI will start from October 8, 2023.
The admission fees for Govt, Private, and MPO-affiliated colleges are as follows,
Inter-Education Board Coordinating Sub-Committee has decided on the fee and instructed the students to get admission to the respective college after informing them about the monthly salary and all expenses including the admission fee of the college before starting the admission process.
MPO-affiliated educational institutions in municipal or municipal (up-district) areas, admission fees including session fee for class 11 fixed at 1000 taka, in municipal (district headquarters) area 2000 taka, and in the case of educational institutions in metropolitan areas other than Dhaka city, 3000 taka has been fixed.
No more than 5000 rupees can be collected for admission to MPO-affiliated educational institutions located in metropolitan areas.
For development and non-MPO teachers in partial MPO or non-MPO educational institutions of the Dhaka metropolitan area, admission fee, session charge, and development fee at the time of student admission has been fixed at a maximum of Tk 7500 in Bengali, and a maximum of Tk 8500 in English version.
Class XI College Admission Result 2023
Students seeking admission to Class XI in the academic year 2023-24 will get the result of the 1st stage application on September 5.
Class XI Admission System Result
College can be confirmed from 7th to 10th September.
2nd stage students have to confirm college between the 17th and 18th September 2023.
3rd stage students have to confirm college between 24th and 25th September 2023.
Then from 26th September to 5th October all the students have to appear in person at the specified college for admission.
Class XI classes will start on 8th October.

How to Apply for College
If the merit list for admission to class 11 is published, admission must be guaranteed.
To guarantee 335 taka guarantee fee has to be paid through online (Bkash, Rocket).
You have to go to Bkash’s pay bill option and select XI Admission and pay the amount.
Failure to pay the assurance fee will be deemed to cancel the college selection.
Rules for cancellation of admission in Class XI
You have to show specific reasons for the cancellation of Class XI admission System.
For cancellation of admission, you need to collect the cancellation of admission form which will be available from the college where you will be admitted.
Then fill out the form with the specified information.
The form should be submitted to the principal of the college along with the necessary documents along with proof of the reason for cancellation of admission.
In case of cancellation of admission, some amount will be deposited which amount is decided by the board.
If there is no proof of the reason for the cancellation of admission, the cancellation application will not be granted.
